Second Quarter 2024
/Summer 2024
Dear Praying Friend,
See. Learn. Do. These three words define the mission of World Wide New Testament Baptist Missions’ mission trip ministry: See the Harvest. Every church member deserves the opportunity to take a mission trip in obedience to the Great Commission. God placed See the Harvest on my heart as a bridge between the pews of local churches and the mission field.
This year marked the fifth trip for See the Harvest. I led over two dozen people to Scotland, where we distributed Scripture, held special meetings for adults and children, and evangelized in the city and metropolitan area of Dumfries. We brought John and Romans, gospel tracts, and church invitations to over 20,000 homes. This trip was a profound experience, yielding results that will echo in eternity for the travelers and the people of Scotland. Hearts that were once hardened and devoid of Scripture were touched by our obedience to our Lord’s command to go. We trust that He will increase the amount.
We plan to lead trips to New York City, Scotland, the Dominican Republic, Croatia, and Atlanta in the next two years. I encourage you to motivate your congregation to participate in these mission trips. You can find more details at SeetheHarvest.com.
Thank you for your prayers, your giving, and your sacrifices. Your prayers sustained us through the challenges and victories of these missions. We are truly grateful for your vital role in our mission's success.
In June, between the two trips to Scotland, I traveled to Egypt, where I spoke at a pastors’ conference on the dangers of Pentecostalism. Kim joined me in Egypt as she had financial accounting work to do for WWNTBM among over 40 national pastors. The meeting was fruitful and well-received.
I spoke at Camp Barnabas, a ministry camp connected to Ambassador Baptist College in July. I challenged fifteen ministry-minded campers to dedicate their lives to God in missionary service.
Today, August 21, Kim and I are heading to Canada. World Wide New Testament Baptist Missions has an office there, and World Wide of Canada assists Canadian churches and donors through our partnership. We will be meeting with our leadership and administrative partners during our visit.
I will travel to Jordan in December to speak at a Baptist seminary on missions. I am excited about this opportunity, as it will be the second time this year that God has allowed me to minister at the seminary level. The Great Commission calls us to go, evangelize, and train.
Your support has enabled me to travel to Scotland three times this year, as well as to Egypt and, later this year, to Jordan. I could only go, evangelize, or train with your support. Please continue to pray for God’s provision in our work, safety in our travels, and effectiveness in our leadership. We hope that we may be a blessing to our missionaries and prospective missionaries.
Yours for the harvest,
John O'Malley
